Never used both of em but thinking of getting motive bleeder.
You can get the speed bleeders from Napa, Pep Boys, Jegs, or Summit for about $10 for a pair. ($20 for all four.)

Speed bleeders work fine for me.

I have used both the speed bleeders and the Motive brake bleeder and I guess its just a matter of personal preference because I find the Motive easier to use. With the Motive you don't have to keep jumping in and out of the car and it's easier to change your brake fluid. But the speed bleeders are cheaper and they will both do the job.
I'm sure the motive pressure bleeder works great too. I guess, I'm still a little old school and like the additive benefit of the speed bleeders.

Either way will work

There are two different kinds of speed bleeds one has an internal check valve that cant be cleaned and tends to freeze up with corrosion and the other is open. I chose the open style after having trouble with the other type. Two things went wrong, first there was the corrosion then I discovered that air was sucking back around the threads.

So I switched to the Earl's type speed bleeds and I love them. They work like a spring loaded needle and seat and that keeps the air from getting back in.

No matter which type you choose they both need rubber caps to keep stuff from gettting into them and gumming them up.

Hope this helps, also Summit and Jegs have them because I got mine from Jegs in two days.

I built up my own pressure system using a pressure regulator, short piece of hose, and a MC cap. The system moves only air, and if you have a leak all you get is the sound of air hissing.

The brake MC cap is standard on all GM vehicles (well, all I've seen), so I can do my Vette, Z-28, a friend's GMC Sierra, etc. I imagine the systems are standardized for Fords as well.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
