hey guys, this weekend i had lg streets installed. i already had a hurricane intake and corsa pace car. i drove the car for about 150 miles and then the check engine light came on. im not sure if its the O2 sensors or if the car is running lean, or anything else. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what i should do.
do it again and look for codes under 10-pcm... they should be the 1st and you should beable to read them when the dic is going through its automatic checks...
i put the lg streets on my 02 automatic. check engine light came on. i checked it with the diablo sport predditor. showed my 02 sensors. i cleared them but they just come back on after 20 mins of driving. if you went with the cat delete you need to get the codes removed with an ls-1 edit from a shop that has that. i just left it alone and drive with my check engine light for now
thanks, i kinda thought that it was that. i have talked to a couple guys and they said that there is a "fake" senor that sends the message that everything is fine. im proly. going to get them, if it works ill let you know.

Good luck finding the 'fake' sensors... the company that makes them got hammered by the EPA and almost put them out of business.
They can be 'tuned out' if you know someone with the software, or take your car to a local tuner and have them do it.
While I'm thinking about it: Did you move the rear O2 Sensors to the front, or did you replace the front O2's and keep the rears in place?
It's all in the paperwork you should have received with the headers: The stock O2 sensors will lose heat from their mounting position compared to the stock manifold, and therefore need a more robust heater like the ones found in the rear style O2 sensors.
When I did my car, I removed all of the O2 sensors, and then installed new 'rear style' O2's in the front locations. I get two codes because of this:
I did the LG street's install last week and so far no codes. I did get 2 additional rear 02 sensors so I am running 2 rear up front and 2 rear in the rear and I love the new found power.
i call LG and they told me to move the rears to the front, and put new ones on the back? im getting a cam sometime this month and a tune so hopefully they can get rid of it.
