Never did C5 but i did 383 stroker on my C4, i paid $1400 to remove and install the engine, got the long block already assembled by a forum member so that helped.
I would not expect more than 2 grand for removal and install, assuming new engine is ready to drop in or atleast long block, with only accessories and intake need be install.
