You shouldn't need a diode. Is a bulb in backwards because that will do what you describe.

Nope they are all oriented properly. I do have euro taillights w/ a euro harness if that matters any. Had to cut a wire at brake pedal per instructions.

Yes, I understand how the Euro lights are wired. There is no reason it should cause a backfeed if done properly.

All I know is that w/ regular bulbs it worked fine and a few others have mentioned the exact same issue w/ euro tails which sent me there first. I noticed if I removed the brake light LEDS then the problem went away. Even w/ 1 brake bulb in the issue occurred. I then wired in a diode and the problem went away. The LEDS only work when oriented one way so I'm assuming they were in right.

Perhaps, They have stellar reviews and no real complaints or similar issues so I don't know.

I've gotten a ton of weatherpack plugs and even some GM pigtails from I think it was Del City but I cannot recall as it's been years since I've needed them. Anyone have any input? Anyone have a GM part # or casting # of that flasher plug?
