The "Venom" moves the MAF towards the throttle body. The "Stinger" does not...(images and explanations)...

The Halltech Stinger for the 97-2000 C5 still uses the forward MAF location as in the stock setup. The 01-04 C5 has the Halltech C6 Venom setup with the MAF relocated in front of the throttle body.
The MAF sensor on the 97-2000 C5 is too small for the large 100mm opening on the bridge to relocate to the rear.
