I don't think anything is 'bullit proof', and don't know of a total kit but you can look at the spec sheet on the RPM website if you want or need to do your own work. That's what I did when mine went out 'cause I still had an extended warrantee at the time that covered most of the cost plus all the labor and I just paid the difference in price on the parts. If not for that I woulda just gotten an RPM tranny ready to go. What I remember on the parts is for the sunshell we went with a 'Beast' sunshell, 3-4 clutch pack we used the Alto Red Eagle 8 clutch kit because it's full thickness as opposed to the 9 clutch which uses thinner steels and clutch plates (OEM is I think either 5 or 6 clutch). We also used a kevlar power band. Be sure you use the 5 pinion planet gear sets (OEM are 4) We also used the Transgo 4L60E-HD2 kit and upgraded the pump to the heavy duty one (don't remember the specs) I'm sure I missed a bunch as it's been a while and I can't find the build sheet we used but you can call Transmissionpartsusa and they'll help you out. After you're done you'll want to make sure to take it to a good tuner to dial the programming in.
Hope this helps.

rodney and todd are great. I did this first befor the motor being redone. Better to do it once than redo and cost even more.

I got a similar set up in my rebuilt A4 The tune is a must do once you get your formula top it off with a PCM tune.. in fact I think stock will benefit from a PCM tune dont need any dyno time just synch it all up

I have used www.bulkpart.com very successfully in the past. They also have kits or you customize your build.

My 3rd and 4th went out two weeks ago. I am replacing my tranny with an RPM Level 6+ transmission.
