I had one and you're not going to notice any seat of the pants improvement. It has to breathe better and it certainly looks better.

First off, I bought mine just for the look.

Maybe a bit more throttle response, but way more sound = better!

Just a little food for thought, when I had my car at the dyno we ran it with the twin cone and without. Zero difference, we were thinking it may have been holding back some ponies but it didnt. Im not sure on the street though. I have since installed the Vararam.

You really aren't going to see any real gains with just a
bigger air intake system, maybe 2 or 3 horses, a little better mpg, better throttle response, and a different exhaust note. That's all I noticed when I installed my Blackwing. You will however set yourself up for better HP gains if and when you decide on further mods like a FAST intake higher flow throttle body, headers and such.

I have one and like it. Heres a tip, get a smooth coupler in conjunction with the intake and you will notice a difference

If you have a completely stock 97 through 99 C5 this will actually add a few HP because the stock air boxes in those years were very restrictive. With the dual cone intake you will get to hear the intake noise. As well as a great looking intake.

Hope that helps you out.

The only thing you will really get is looks. I had one and didn't notice any extra HP. If you decide to get one go with the cheapest not the $200 ones. They are the same. You can always buy better filters like K&N and still be under $200.

I've got a Volant dual cone on my 04. I like the looks. Can't claim any noticeable performance increase.
Best wishes.
