Cheap graphics ideas?

I like the large stipe kits that are available for the C5 and whatnot but they cost over 150 dollars. Im looking for ideas that I can do myself with inexpensive stiping tapes etc that will still look good. Does anyone have examples of stuff that they have seen or done that looks good with materials that you can just buy for cheap at the autoparts store, stipes on fenders, over hood, combinations etc?

One thing that looks good is the automotive vinyl gloss black over the "halo" behind the top and in front of the back window.

Ya, to where if you have a painted top it blends with the window and if you have a composite top like mine it would all blend together.
