Default crank freeze plug removal/replace

Does anyone have any tips on removing the freeze plug behind the pilot bearing and replacing it. I must have knocked it loose when I removed the pilot bearing last year. I noticed every now and then I would get a small drop or two of oil under the bellhousing. Just wanting to get an idea before I start taking the drivetrain out again.

Also if there is oil on my clutch disc - can I clean it or do I need to replace the disc. I have a textralia OZ700 z grip.

Thanks for any help.

I found the illustration in the repair manual. I know how far to set the new one in there now. can I just knock it in some on one side and pull out or should I try to screw aself tapping screw in and pull it out that way.
