you can just slide the steering rack towards the passenger side. The hardest part is getting the power steering lines off. If I remember right they are 15mm in a tight spot, but not bad.

The time it takes you to mess with everything around #7 & 8 cylinders. Drop the pan for the oil tube on an F-body is almost about the same time you can get the steering rack out lol. With two guys it should take you less than an hour for the rack.

Since you already have experience installing heads and cam on your transam, I say go for it!! When you start tearing it apart your going to kick yourself because you waited so long. We started on monday and fired the car up tonight. Just taking our time and only working a few hours a day on it.

Billy looked like a little kid at christmas morning when we fired it up. I'm very pleased with the way this install went. We'll get the rest of the exhaust on tomorrow afternoon and get video of the car.

yea your probably right. The other thing is that I didn't know if there is really a cam worth doing the work since I have the stock stall. I know with larger cams a higher stall is a must I wouldn't mind doing the cam but I don't want to have to tear in to the rear of the car. I wonder how large I could go using the stock converter

you could go with the G5X1 (229/233 590/580 112) Great low and the mid range is crazy. Dave(Busto) was the other guy helping me. He has a 02 Z with that cam. Nice lope, a very good street cam.

If you ever decide to get a stall, it would complement that cam nicely as well.

Nice video but you're holding the camera way to close and it sound somewhat garbled.

Nice job though
