Best spark plug wire?

I heard this from a guy at Thunderracing.com when I was attempting to order the Magnecor's from them...

Do you know the part number for the MSD wires for a Vette? Are your red?
My local auto parts store carries MSD wires but they have a million sets to choose from :(

I installed them 3 weeks ago.. Honestly, they look just like the stock wires, except red! The Taylors are much thicker and seem to be the favorites among the racing guys.
IMHO: Unless you race your car VERY hard, not a lot of difference among the various options.
Good luck,

One of the advantages of the coil near plug setup is the short lead length. High tech solutions for longer runs are overkill IMHO.

As they are .409" thickness (plus reinforced inner core, 100% silicone jackets, spiro-wound wire technology), they handle and sit real solid, look real great in the engine compartement and helped for sure to further assist idle smooth-out. Now, amongst the BERU SILVERSTONEs (gapped to .035), they represent a great technical solution (and I hope this goes also for excellent sparkpower supply - however, I will proceed for a checkout soon by the assistance of oscilloscope).

I was going to get the Magnecor's until I read about the plug boot issue.
