Traction Control Killing throttle NO WHEEL SPIN
A few time now on the highway, when hitting a bump in the road the traction control kicks in, and shuts down my throttle, and stays that way until I shut off the traction control button.
Then works fine again.
And prior there was no wheel spin (I'm not accelarating)
Any idea's??
Thanks in advance.

Check for DTCs and also,,,when it happens, look at the DIC MESSAGE CENTER and see if there are any active handling messages, traction control or antilock messages saying that they are active.
If the EBTCM is having issues, it will display error DTC that will tell us what wheel/s are causing the issue.
I agree that there are most likely issues with the wheel speed sensor female connector female pins. The female pins have a toung in them that grip the male pin. If that toung get damaged or spreads out, it will cause a poor connection and the sensor for that wheel will error out. You need to find a male pin of the correct size and test all the female pins in the wheel speed sensor wiring harnesses and the two front jumper harnesses.
Dont let anyone convince you that a wheel speed sensor is bad. I have NEVER seen one go bad unless the pig tail was ripped out due to an accident or neglect.

Look at each wheel hub and you will see a short pig tail harness coming off the back of it:
Front sensor/hub
Rear sensor hub
The wheel hub side of the connector is a MALE plug with male pins so,,,it isnt the problem unless the pins are corroded.
The Female side of the wiring harness that the sensor plugs into is the issue. The female pins look like this:
The connector on the LEFT is NEW. The one on the RIGHT is BAD. See how the pins are misshappen!!
You can use a metal pick and try to bend the toung back down. I ve done that successful on a few cars. If it fails, you will need to splice on a new plug or install new pins on that plug. Either way works.
Heres what I use to test all my female pins that take that size pin. DO NOT force in a larger male pin!!
The front wheel hubs/sensors use a JUMPER HARNESS and that has female pins that tend to go bad. The dealer will change that and the hub in a heart beat to the tune of $600-$800 bucks.
Just for your knowledge,,,,,heres whats inside a wheel speed sensor:

Took them apart a few days ago, cleaned them up (looked like new inside)
Cleared all the codes.
So far so good!!
Thanks for all the help, and especially those pictures.

Will check them again this weekend, and see if I can get another 2 years free repair
P.S. I think that is what is kicking out my cruise control this time. I'll check the codes, and post as well.
