Noise from 2000 6 sp.

Any Ideas? Marbles sound coming from trans or rear, only when coming out of 1st gear. Gets worse after warm up. Runs strong, no other weird sounds or anything loose underneath. Thanks!

Normal noise, they all sound like that, my 2000 Vert sounds just like that and has sounded like the marbles are loose since day one, and I have 43k on it now, just the way the MN6 sounds. Keep on driving.

Yep... marbles.. that describes my 2000 Vert 6 spd exactly. And it magnifies if you hang on the stick between shifts.

If you keep the rpm over 1,500, then it is less likely to happen...for me anyway.

Thanks for the reply. This just started last week. Has it always been there for you and has it happened after 40,000 or so miles?
