I am noticing on my corvette (A4 coupe) that when I turn the steering wheel, I hear what seems to be a squeek or creeking noise, like it needs to be lubed
I check all the fluids and DTC and no codes on it, and no fluid (steering or brake) is showing low or any leaks, what can I do to correct this?
open hood look under brake booster where the steeering shaft exits the fire wall....you will see a rubber gromet ...you need to get some wd40 or something similar in there ....that was my problem....i used a the nylon tube from an old boost gauge stuck it in there then sprayed the wd40 through the tube....fixed....you could also try the same on the inside also
