Hey c5 lovers
want is the hp difference from 1997 c5 to 2004 c5.
I just purchased 1997 c5 bone stock and have not gone the track with it yet. A fellow forum brother sent me link to look at but most of the c5's that posted times were from 99 to 2004
so i needed to know if there is a big hp difference in hp from 1998 on

base C5 was rated 345 HP IN 1997
BASE C5 IN 2004 WAS rated 350HP
Z06 was 405 HP
Lot of other variables here though in 1/4 mile times. Auto vs. stick, drag radials vs. stock tires, bolt ons, etc. Let's not forget probably the most important ingredient, the driver.
The 97 and 98 computers weren't as "tunable" as the 99's on, from what I have read.
BASE C5 IN 2004 WAS rated 350HP
