Default Another Headlight Door Problem

When I turn my headlights off, the driver side door motor continues to run after the door closes completely and then opens about half way. There are no clicking or other unusual noises from the motor. The car is a 99 coupe. Any help would be appreciated.

Replace the motor same problem on my 02. They are sealed units.

change both of the gears at the same time, that way you won't have to do it again when the other side fails.

Thanks for the link to Bill Curlee's post. I replaced the nylon stop and the problem is solved. Thanks again, Bob
