Can anyone direct me to the best belt tensioner? My belt keeps jumping up on the alternator. Have a 98 Lingenfelter. I tried the search link but nothing comes up. Thanks in advance for any help.

I assume you have checked for misalignment or a balancer issue....if either are the case...adding more tension won't help.
Sorry, I get ahead of myself. But now that we know that, what the **** should i do. I do most of my own work (keeping it out of the shop is a plus as far as Iam concerned). I did use a metal machinists rule to line up the pulleys and they all looked pretty good.

Ok, does the maggie setup still use factory tensioner setup? Just identify which one is limp, and order it. If it does, you can get it at gmpartshouse.com, but the factory tensioners are pretty easy to come by at local parts houses.
