Hey Turbo, the "lift in inches" spec on each cam.. is this the distance in inches that the valve travels (down into the combustion chamber) once actuated by the rocker via the push rod? Thanks again.

Yep. Think of duration as "how long" the valve is open and lift as "how wide" the valve is open (of course, wide here extends downward into the cylinder).

Thanks for chiming in. Will this cam work fine with factor heads, rods, valve etc.?

yes, great with factory pieces - but you do need to change the valve springs.

Not to steal this thread but I've been thinking of doing the same (H/C; and yes I live CA so driveabilit/dd is my main concern)...I'm thinking of getting a set of ported LS6/243 heads and say your CAM....thoughts? 2000 C5 MN6 pretty much all stock.

BTW I appreciate this thread.

Thanks,
- Eric

I used to have the same cam specs when I had my 1997 and I did pass smog.
