purolator..is that a joke? I run an automotive shop..there are 2 filters that are acceptable..AMSOIL EA Filters,,and WIX/NAPA GOLD filters... AMSOIL has synthetic nanofiber media,,WIX and NAPA gold (same filters) have glass enhanced cellulose media, each filters 10-12 micron, plus has anti drain back valve, steel coil spring instead of cheap aluminum plate that bends..and a neoprene gasket....

The only way you are going to know if your favorite oil and filter are doing a good job is to have an oil analysis done. This is especially true for air filters. Some of you might be surprised. Just removing the rocker covers to do a valve adjustment will show more silicon in your oil. Later! Frank

I run the Amsoil Ea032 now. I use to run the real WIX filter (not Napa Gold). According to an engineer I met from Wix - Wix makes the Napa Gold filters but the Wix filter is better than the Napa Gold.
