if you have heads and cam mods, there are better choices BUT,,,,they do NOT last as long as a OEM irridium plug. Use the irridums if your not heavly modified.

And if you are?
I'm basically stock now, but i'm looking to get the GMPP wires / plugs when I get the headers/x/VR/PP TB/tune in a month or two, I would imagine at this point stick with the GM iridiums?
Had the stock plugs in my car up untill last year when I decided to run nitrous, tried the TR-6's and had nothing but problems when it warmed up. It ran fine cold but as soon as it was at operating temperature it would missfire. Switched to the TR-55's and everything has been fine with the exception of the occasional stumble at idle, which may be partialy due to the cam.
anyone used A/C Delco RapidFire Platinums???...I have a set of these I bought on closeout a while back...coming up time for me to change out my OE Platinums (IIRC mine are Densos as Delco ran out in '01 or it was the plat issue but...)...I don't really buy in to the plugs will get you more HP but I do believe in using the right plugs for the job...the RapidFire Platinums I have are the right number for our LS1s...would love to hear from anyone with experience on this though...
Thanks,
Bill
I use Bosch Platinum +4. One of the Vette mags did a comparo on plugs and these came out on top power wise. Not a huge difference mind you, but they were best.
