Specifically, need pics of a notched or clearanced motor mount, passenger side, for an LS2/3 block to be put in. Finding a few pics of the actual cause of the fitment issue (the added bolt boss on teh block) but can't find any pics of the notched mount bracket. I have mine in hand ready to go to town but want to see how much and exactly where is needed to be "modified."
Well, I got gusty and went for it. Notched the mount bracket. Got ugly and went ghetto with a jigsaw and drill press because my dremel died a few weeks ago and I had zero cutoff wheels for my grinder. Hence, the ugliness in the pic below. Not pretty but it works.
I also cut the top left corner of the flange off for clearance from the knock sensor. The two were touching slightly and I didn't want it setting any false knock off. This normally wouldn't have been a problem save for the turbo manifolds being in the way of the rear position you could put it in.
Already done and back in. Working on the inlet setup now before I put it all back together. Had to trim some more off the bottom side, essentially cut off the "3" in the part number on the casting.
