Making noise

I have a 1999 C-5 that whenever I go to back up and turn very sharply it makes a noise like the tire rubbing. I have pulled all 4 tires off and can not find any evidence of rubbing. I can't find anything wrong. anyone have any suggestions?

Check the front brake cooling ducts. You won't have to pull the wheels, just turn wheels full left and check the left duct, then full right to see if tire is rubbing on the right duct.

mine does the same, still no answers.... it sounds like a weird scraping noise, but not plastic?

Thanks for the info. I checked these and they looked good. The noise sounds like it is coming from the rear, sounds like when driving a 4-wheel drive on pavement and you turn hard. I dont know it is driving me nuts!

The steering geometry isn't setup for sharp turns (on or near the turning stops) on Corvettes. The tire to floor contact will bind sliding the tires making the noise. If you try the same maneuver on a wet surface it shouldn't do it, if it does it might be something else.
