no still stock cam added logtubes and met inj. procharger 8 psi boost
In my opinion as long as you are not exceeding the original engine rpm red line and with only 30K miles I would put the money to better use for some other upgrades. With that said, if you plan on changing to a more aggressive cam or going high on engine rpm then up grading the valvetrain could be a good choice. The money might be better spent on upgrading differential output shafts, or maybe DTE differential strut kit.
IMHO Good valve springs are pretty important on a supercharged engine if they bounce on the seat or you get into a little valve float under boost could be trouble other posters are quite right should be ok but eventually your gonna need 'em,buy 'em now for peace of mind or just be careful w/boost levels are don,t over-rev it....just my $.02

I agree, and that applies to NA motors as well. The factory LS6 valve springs are ticking timebombs. The one in the picture below let go cruising on the highway in 6th gear, 70mph. I'm running Comp 921's now.
I would definitely get some dual springs. Patriot Golds or Extremes are a great option. I went with the Extremes, but I'll be running a healthy cam with my Procharged set-up.

only difference is I went with the Harland Sharp set up. Either way...good advice
I run Comp 921 springs, Smith Brothers 5116 series pushrods (intake), Comp 7609 pushrods (exhaust), stock lifters and rockers. This setup seems to work well and I'm happy with the results...
I had some wicked valve float at the hands of a very aggressive cam and a set of Patriot Gold springs...they couldn't stand up to the cam, and I had to replace a valve as a result.
My advice is to do your homework very thoroughly...find out what others (with similar engine configuration) are running, "horror" stories, success stories...and check with a reputable Corvette shop, too.

What model year was your engine and was it completely stock when this occurred?
I can't tell from your photo, but do you recall what color spring or stripe was on your springs?
thinking 'bout upgrade myself recommended spring, what is the seat pressure also gonna upgrade to titanium retainers ; keepers are so tiny and so important in the old days we used machined keepers whats the recommended keeper used today; gonna use springs on stock ls6 cam when I cam up most likely new springs at that time also, my goal is rock solid reliability. On all my previous street/strip cars I used full roller rockers(cast and extruded)screw in studs and stud girdle I don't think I need a girdle on my Ls6 as the design diff. on the later model heads ...Opinion??
Have Harland Sharp mod the stock rockers, PAC 1518 springs (nitrited for much longer life) and Manton 11/32 pushrods and not worry about it for many many miles.

There is no need, you should know by now that either Patriot duals or PRC duals are the best ever on these forums. Why would someone pay more for a beehive thats lighter, stronger, longer lasting and their steel retainers being lighter than the other options "ti" retainer. No one cares about valvetrain weight its over rated.
