Help: Dash Lights

I went out for a drive and all of a sudden my dash lights go off, AC, radio buttons too. The only thing that is lit is the DIC, radio display and temp on the AC. Another thing that happened in my lights dont go down. Are there any fuses that control both of these?

Also, when i unlock the car, my gauges light up! But they go off once I turn my headlights on.

Sounds like the multifunction switch on the column is bad. Theres a really detailed post out there that details how to fix it.

#6 In the pass footwell was blown. Now my left HID doesnt turn on... arg...

I'm "electrically retarded" as well, but I found the fix pretty do-able. There's really nothing electrical about it, except that the part your fixing happens to have wires running from it. But you don't need multimeters or anything like that; it's purely "mechanical". You basically take apart the multifunction switch, and use some pliers to bend the metal contacts back into shape.

Here's a writeup I did on removing the switch itself; then at the very bottom, I left a link to the writeup that details repairing the switch. Just look through and see if its stuff you can handle...
