01 zo6 with a farily big cam
lg streets, no cats and b&b bullets. these bullets sound great but they are sooooo deep that it takes away from the chop of my cam. i drove my car yesterday and after it got good and warm it sounded like it barely had a cam in it. from what i've heard the b&b prt's sound good with a cam, and i think indy pace? sounds good too. what do you guys think? i want to change my catback to bring that cam sound out?

think you have it up to the exhaust.
Borla Stingers
GHL - bullets - give deep rumble tone at ideal
B&B kind sounds like a motor boat
Corsa indy pace will quite down what you have
I'm running a slightly bigger cam 239/243 with LT headers and went through a number of exhaust systems before sticking with the GHL Bullets (tried the Borla, B&B and Z06 Ti) - it gives you the great sound from the cam without the annoying drone. Great quality too!
AlohaC5 is there any chance i can get a video clip of your car could i?
also, not to get into a long story, but i installed my cam a few degrees retarted. i was supposed to put it in at 111 and my tuner thinks it is a few degrees late. i'm about to get back into it and get an adjustable timing set and having someone degree it. if i find it was put in late, and then i correct it going in at 111, will the idle change?
I'll record some video for you tomorrow after work so you can hear the exhaust. My cam LSA is 113+3. I don't believe adjusting the degree of your cam will change your RPM idle settings.

that would be awsome if you did that. i know it wouldn't change the rpm of the idle, but i was wondering if it would change how it sounds... i don't do this for a living so i don't know a ton of this stuff. the grind of the cam wont change. but if i had the cam installed at 114 degrees and then changed it to 111 degrees. would that make the idle choppier just as if 2 same cams ground at 114 and the other 111. the 111 would idle more aggressive.
Here's a 2 minute clip of the sound of my exhaust so you can hear the cam at idle and at approx. 2000 RPMs through my GHL Bullets (toward the end of the clip) - hope it helps. Sounds like stock. Mike

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
