Side View Mirror Question
2004 C5. I've got a garage space crunch problem and I need to fold the passenger side view mirror to get a few extra inches of clearance when I squeeze the car into the garage.
Did a Forum search and I now I know how to fix a loose mirror but I still don't have a sense of whether folding the mirror a couple of times a month is gonna eventually loosen it.
Whadda you guys think? Anyone ever had to do fold the mirrors regularly?

I think the more often you fold them, the more likely they are to pop off. The clip that holds them on is weak compared to the spring, and some eventually fail even if the mirrors have never been moved.
Of course, folding them back manually is better than having the garage door fold them back for you.
