AC Dash Vent "Flaps" won't open!
Good Morning Everyone.
I have a 98 C5 Coupe, that won't "blow air" through the vents when I turn on the AC. I hear the fan going like crazy, and a bit of air will come through. Seems the little "flaps" or "doors" that switch between modes (upper/lower vents) aren't opening completely. I recently replaced (4th time) my oil pressure sender and suspect the tiny vacuum hose at the back of the manifold didn't seat correctly. Is this the problem? Where exactly are the vacuum controls for the AC flappers and are they easily accessed? Hope someone can shine some light on this for me.
BTW...the sender has failed AGAIN, so I'm going back in anyway!

All the damper doors are VACUUM Controlled and thats most likely the issue. Lack of vacuum is the answer!
