Default Fuel Sensor

Hey Guys,
I replaced my fuel sensor on my '98 a few weeks ago. So far the gauge is working, but the fuel level when full only shows half full on the gauge. Did I miss something in the install? Does this year have a sensor on the passenger side too? Do I need to have something reset at the dealer. I've checked the codes and I have nothing. Next step is to pull it back out and see if there is an obstruction, but I just wanted to check and see if there was something simple that I've missed.
Thanks for all the help I've received since getting this car. When I bought it it wasn't in the best of shape, but this is the last thing in a long laundry list of things I've had to do to it. The car wasn't abused just neglected.
Thanks again,
Tony

Default There are 2 sensors one in EACH TANK

C5s have 2 plastic tanks and each one has a fuel sensor. I had the dreaded guage going to zero while driving. Dealer replaced one sensor.
2 years later and no warranty it happened again. Use Techron in the tank (20 oz) before a fillup and if you can use Chevron or Texaco gas which has Techron in it. Took a few tankfuls to clean up my sensors.
They go bananas with sulpher deposits.

Try a couple of tanks with techron before you do more surgery.
