Check O rings usually the culprits.
Sometimes you just have to tighten the connections a little. I've also had bad schrader valves (like tire valves on the high and low side of the freon lines). If these are leaking discharge and evacuate system and recharge after replacing the valves.
To find the leak use some freon with dye in it.
