and its going on the dyno right after
i was wondering what parts (inexpensive mods) i could throw on the car
to add little horsepower gains to boost up my numbers before the dyno
anything will help i just want some advice
any tweaks free modifications
easy stuff??
any comments will help
thanks...
Not sure if you consider this a cheap mod, but a LS6 intake manifold will help wiuth some power gains. Also make sure get Chromoly puichrods and new Valve springs for that cam. If you live in an area without emissions, get rid of the emissions control tubes that run into the exhaust.
Not cheap, but the only things other than FI that are really going to give you noticeable gains, are heads and gears. And the gears won't do anything to raise the dyno numbers, just make you quicker.
What gear do u guys recommend? I wana keep the sweet top end, I'm scared to gear it for that reason I don't wana lose the highway pulls, and make it slower on there

Do you have an automatic or a 6 speed?
For the auto I'd recommend a 3:42 gear ratio
For the 6 speed, I'd go with a 3:73 or 3:90

It's an 04, so it already has an ls6 intake manifold.

No it wont slow you down. Plus with the cam kit I'm sure you are upgrading the valvetrain so you can rev it up a little more.
