I don't know which way to go. I'm thinking about Ti's but hear allot of good things about Corsa and Borla. What do you guys think?

Z06 Tis are super light and look good, but they're just too quiet for me. I had Borla Stingers for years and years. With each progressive mod they got louder and the drone got worse. It was fine stock, fine w/ headers, but once I put my G5-X2 cam in it got a bit much. I've got Tis on there now, but they're just too quiet. I was considering doing the A&A bypass mod to them, but have decided to just wait and get some Corsa Indys. I had a set I borrowed from a buddy for a week and they were amazing..... zero drone but an awesome exotic tone at WOT.

The only downside w/ Corsas is that it sounds like a motorboat at idle when you have a stock cam in the car. Once cam'd that sound is gone. Also the Corsas are super heavy and I had trouble keeping the tips alligned.

Exhaust sound is very subjective and your motor combo/mods will greatly affect the sound/volume etc.

BEFORE YOU PLOP DOWN CASH for a cat back exhaust system,,,,,,,,LISTEN to as many as you can on actual C5's. If you find one that you like,,, COPY IT!

I personally like GHL but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it is EXPENSIVE!

I currently have a Stainless Works system and like it. If it were to disappear tomorrow, I would find a GHL exhaust to replace it.

The sound is incredible!

I have Maganaflow's system whicj is known to be on the quiet side, but I also have an LG complete long-tube header system which totally turns the exhaust into some thing different and much more powerful sounding. You need to consider what your plans are with the rest of your system, it will affect your exhaust sound.

I put Borla on mine and love them. But they are not quiet. Not many people in my area run them so the car has a unique sound.

I wanted my car to remain quiet but I didn't care for the factory Ti tips. I planned on getting Corsa Indys... but fell upon a set of Corsa Pace Cars. The Pace Car exhaust was supposed to be loud... I think it's "just right". Cruising under light throttle is almost like stock. WOT sounds very crisp. I have LG Pro catted longtubes, G5X1 and have no problems coming home late at light.

Like Gene said... go to Vette events... and compare other C5s. Headers and cam will be a big difference so be sure to compare cars with similar mods.

FYI Indys are Pace Cars... same system. The quieter system is the Touring system.

I had stingers on my car until I finished my long tubes, then it was just too loud and the drone was crazy loud. I would agree that the Z06 Ti's are a little too quiet, but bang for the buck you just can't beat them. I picked up a set for $280. They are very light and you won't have to adjust the tips every month either. And to boot, I put down 358 RWHP with all the bolt ons and a tune. All and all, I'd say I'm happy with them. You can't go wrong with any of the systems mentioned... good luck..

I've had Corsas on 2 different C5's and have been really happy with them!

Check out youtube and hear some clips of different borla, b&b, ghl, magnaflow, etc and arrive at your own decision.

I went with the Borla straight pipes because

1: Sound - All of Borla's pipes put a little bit more of a whine into the sound like a ferrari or other exotic car.
2: VERY LOUD at high rpms but still quiet under 2k rpm
3: price -- $325-$380 + $200 for the xpipe. Most other catbacks are $500-$800!
4: light weight

It was a very hard choice between Borla and B&B for me...
