YES there is one or two. VERY EXPENSIVE, not sure how well it worked or what power level.

NOT worth the money to do so.

I forget the name of the guys who do the OHC for the LS engines but the only thing that exists for those are the pictures. It's a boondogle!.

I've heard of DOHC heads for the GEN I and GEN III/IV...but there are no "conversions" from SOHC...since these are all in-block cam engines.

Just so we're crystal

Besides why would you want a DOHC with so much torque and big cylinders ??

Default Batten.

Batten was one of the companies that used to do four valve heads for a number of different blocks. Not sure if they ever made one for the LS, there was just never enough reason for people to get these even for older much less efficient SBC motors. The LS doesn't need OHC of any type for the very small improvement you might get in some areas, not for all the negatives that come with OHC's also. The Batten heads were on the cover of Hot Rod a few times. There where a few others but most where billet one offs. Then there is the old Eagle motors which where insane but not really street engines.

I've seen pics of 4 valve LSX heads...but they used the stock cam and pushrod arrangement.

Never saw an OHC setup. (Not SOHC, not DOHC)

It only works if you add VTEC, and bump the rev limiter to 9800 RPMs so you can really feel the VTEC.

You need a boost gauge on the A-Pillar too to dial in the vacuum setting and to make sure you don't run too much vacuum.. Although some is good. On a cold day.

I used to see ads in Hot Rod magazine back in the early '90's featuring (expensive) 4 valve head conversions for Gen1 small blocks...

It was a novelty then, and it remains as an overly complex pipe dream today.

Whoa... Is this a Viper forum? Why is everyone jumping on this kids nuts for asking a question? I thought we were supposed to help each other out with problems and answer questions, not ridicule each other and tell people to go drive something else, like we are elite and better than them.
