Default QA1 questions

Figured this is a much better spot for some QA1 questions. I have the selective ride and it's about time for some new shocks and having adjustability really would be sweet for what I'm looking for I think. Here are my questions....

1.) Thinking the C model would be best since I'm not hardcore into racing, where is the best vendor to purchase them from?

2.) Will the adjustablility change the ride height of the car also or will that still be strictly set with my front and rear bolts?

3.) Properly adjusted, how will these ride on the road with a slammed stance?

4.) How difficult is it to change the settings at the strip for some passes and then change back to street settings for the ride home?

Thanks!

the QA1's are adj from 0-8. I switch them back at the track to the road setting all the time. Takes 2 minutes tops. The rears are the easiest. Fronts because of my short arms I have to move the steering wheel all the way over to get to them

so they can be changed easily, thats great!

Do the settings change your ride height as well or is that still strictly dependent on your bolts? How is the ride quality with a slammed stance on the road?

they dont control ride height it is more of compression and nose dive when you brake..on the lower settings (if your slammed) you will rub the air damn, on the highest setting there is no rubbing when braking hard.

comfortable is a matter of personal preference...i was in a c6 with base suspension and thought i was going to throw up....it bounced over the road like a buick roadmaster, my comfort is to feel every bit of road feedback....you know when you hit a expansion joint, a stick, rock etc...some would think my car is a bit harsh in ride but its perfect for what i was after, a true no holds bar road car.

thanks! What I'm after I suppose is to get rid of the "hoppy" ride I have. The car bounces which I am very sure is due to the limited shock travel my stockers have that are bottoming out easily.

Where is the best priced place to order these from?

HAVE QA1 in my 03 Z/06 luv 'em QA1 single adjustable have 12 settings DO NOT affect ride height, pretty easy to adj.,have to lay on ground to adj. fronts in addition have to turn wheel for access; when getting into the higher settings (FIRMER)the **** becomes increasing difficult to turn.set on 8 f/spirited h'way driving , 10 f/banzi hi speed,6 f/all around stable street driving and 4 if you are taking your mom for a ride beware the lower settings f/street esp. rears if set too low a take on some weight (passenger) run the risk of bottom out (not good)also in dragrace you can adjust the "HOOK"by adj. the front and rears you can dial in weight transfer and how hard the rear tires hit.check out website they have shock 101 or call (I did) very helpful and oh by the way if this matters to you they are a beautiful shock brushed alum.I however bought f/performance and was not dissappointed
