Shock choices
With all the discussion regarding shocks, has anyone installed Bilstein Z51's and if so how do you like them? What about the '08 C6Z shocks on an '01 Z? I want to upgrade my '01 but am now not sure which ones. My Z doesn't do any track time just PCH from SLO to Monterey and back several times a month. Lot's of 2nd-4th hairpins and sweepers mostly under 60mph. I've upgraded the sway bars, brakes and lowered about 1.25 inches and just want a firm controlled feel up front. Currently the front shocks just have too little compression control as far as I'm concerned so I want to increase it without losing all the compliance. Any consensus or comments would be appreciated!
