Response from c4c5:
Ok, your 1870 is the issue.
This is a torque converter slippage code for one of several reasons.
first, the calibration that was done did not take, and therefore, the computer sees different rpm vs speed readings, therefore, sees 'slippage', which sets the code.
Second, your Torque converter clutch hydraulic control solenoid is bleeding off fluid pressure, and the converter clutch is not holding.
Third, you may have a defective converter itself.
I would talk with MTI, and see when they can look at it, because your vehicle is so new, I would say that it is a component issue, with the parts installed.
I am sure that you are aware, you have no further warranty on the driveline, in any way.
Please keep me posted, c4c5
