Looking for some guidence on the proper items to have done.
2004 C5 convertable with automatic. Current mileage is 10,000. I change the oil and filter every year. But I am now wondering about the following, in light of the years. Coolant, brake fluid, plugs and wires and any other thoughts. The tires are fine, but I wonder if they're at their limit. I live in the South and the car is garaged so it's in excellent condition from a weathering standpoint.

My 02 coupe had 9,000 miles on it when I bought it in September and I thought about the same things. Aside from the obvious oil change I also changed the coolant. The plugs and wires should be fine as long as the wires still feel soft. I didn't do the brake fluid but that isn't a bad idea. If it is a garage queen the tires should be OK. I changed out my front tires becuae of a balance problem. They were flat spotted from sitting.
Follow the recommendations in the Owner's Manual. If you haven't changed the coolant previously you are due. It goes for 5 years or 150K miles. Brake fluid should be flushed every two years to keep things in the brake system clean and reduce the amount of moisture in the fluid. If you haven't changed yours yet it may starting to look a little dark colored.
