Jack car up safely in the air at the side points, block the front wheels from rolling
Remove rear wheels
Remove Exhaust ( everything after headers)
Remove Underside Plate (like 36 bolts)
Disconnect clutch Master/Slave Cylinder
Disconnect Brakes and Electrical Cables
Disconnect Torque tube from engine
Remove the rear brace + top suspension (8 bolts total i think) 4 for brace and 2 for each suspension
Drop slowly everything with tranny jack (i used a motorcycle jack, works like a charm) + Pull backwards
Also meanwhile during all that at some point tear apart the interior so you can remove the complete shifter assembly
Some illustrations are in the GM service manual. Not really needed. Maybe for the interior, but someone wrote it up on this forum, i think.
Very important, while dropping everything, call a handful of your buddies over and have beer ready. It gets heavy and help is useful.
2. Whats specs are you talking about?
3. I removed my intake just incase. Took like 2 minutes.
4. Amsoil ATF they sell regular at stores or you can buy better torque drive online

I used a ATV jack and it was easy on jackstands.
