2 hours to get it on the lift, Plus 10-minutes for coffee & donuts, Plus 15 minutes to install, Plus 5-minutes to remove from service bay, = 2-1/2 hours.
What's the problem.
I'm surprised they didn't add in a potty break what with all the coffee & donuts.

DAMN IT,,,, You forgot to add the shop rag and hazardous waste disposal fee. I had a dealer program my BCM a long time ago and that that on there. I about lost it. They took it off after I bitched..
Easy .... Front : Jack up vehicle, un-bolt the sway bar bushing clamps, remove old bushing, install new bushing, lub it with white grease (Bushing has cut so they spread and clamp over Sway Bar). Re-install, re-bolt about 90lbs torque.
Rear : Same as front, you will see after doing it.
You don't need to remove the sway bar, best jack car up with two jack stands and the jack lift in the center assisting holding the vehicle. Best is to but wheel box under tires. Good luck.
Great thread I am doing this today to get rid of that dreaded old creaky staircase noise! I thought it was from removing the front bolts when I lowered the car, so I put new C6 style bolts back in and it still made the creak noise, so I have brand new OEM bushings coming today and Id like to install! Thanks for the info!

You forgot something. It's 5 minutes to get it on the lift. 15 minutes at the parts counter waiting on the parts. 5 minutes for the front, 5 for the rear. It's a $20. deal. What you all forgot was the 90 minute test drive on your dime. Then they will try to sell you new tires as your car sits there with smoking rear tires.
For $180. I got ZO6 bars and bushings from Gene and installed them in about a half hour. One of the more simpler DIY jobs you can do.
Thats for sure! Man, I have a whole long list of horror stories from my car going to the dealership. Change the bushings yourself and you will be happy you did.

You are probably used to getting kissed just before you get screwed....
I see I already posted to this thread but as I was reading thoughts like yours came to mind, well kinda. I was leaning towards the lube as astro glide and a reach around for $180.
