I have an '04 Z06 w/headers and hi flow cats. My car regularly throws p0420 and p0430 codes. I haven't driven the car much this year and when I took it in for emisions the catalyst and evaporative systems weren't ready to be tested and I am only allowed 1 system to be "not ready". On the way home SES came on again and I reset the codes. My question is, when I reset the p0420 and 0430 codes does that make all the systems not ready again or just the catalyst system? If all the systems reset I don't know how I can get it through the drive cycle so it can be tested without throwing codes again.
As soon as you reset you will most likely fail till a complete drive cycle is complete. AND, chances are you'll throw another code before that happens. And yes, all the I/M's will reset when you clear the codes. In IL, you can fail/Not Ready 1 I/M-you should check online with your State DMV.

Isn't your car now "kept" in Walworth county?
No, I may not know you, but I just gave you a little tip as to the easiest way to never have to worry about testing in WI again.
If you're insistent on going thru emissions, you may need the help of a tuner to get it to pass.

Tuners can disable some DTC and take the function out of the monitor chain so that they do not set or set a flag. See your local tuner or purchase your own tuning software.
