cracked radiator part

cracked radiator part
While in the process of replacing the reservoir tank on my 2000 C5, I noticed that a part of the radiator was also cracked. It's the part circled in this picture (you can see the crack if you look closely):
Do I have to replaced the entire radiator? While looking at the parts catalog at GM Parts Direct, it appears that just the cracked piece is available (part number 6, "Outlet Manual trans", here.)
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace just that part? $33 for that part is certainly better than the $280 for the entire radiator.

The end tanks are crimped onto the core with a gasket.
You might be able to do it yourself, but you would probably need to get a radiator repair shop to do it for you.
If one side cracked, the other side may not last much longer, so I would opt for buying a new radiator.
