Electrochromatic Mirror issues here
First, I've got a 2001 and have converted from 4 plug to 7. The brown wire is not hot from the headlights it's hot with the accessory. None of the wires are hot from the headlights. One orange is hot all of the time, the other orange is hot with the dome (courtesy) lights.
I wired them up correctly and all wires function correctly, however the electrochromatic and maps lights from the switches don't work on my mirror. The middle light comes on with the accessory and the courtesy lights when door is opened both work.
I have an RJ11 connector tucked up under where the mirror wire comes from that is not connected to anything. Are those the remaining 3 wires for the electrochromatic mirror that have to be hooked up to get it to work correctly? or do I just have a bum mirror?
