High Temp Caliper Paint Question....

I need to paint the calipers on my C5. Should I use Foliatec paint or is there some other product that I can use. Also, can you tell me where to purchase the paint you recommend. Thanks for your help.

I used duplicolor BLACK

i used duplicolor black turned out pretty good. Picked it up at autozone.

rustoleum Sunrise Red is closest to Torch Red, if that's what you have. it will fade a bit over the years, but it's easy to touch up because you are not spraying it on, which requires tedious masking. only drawback is it is slooooooooooow drying...overnight is best.

Dupli-color from autozone....16 bucks. Just get some thinner to get a smoother finish!

VHT makes a "Caliper paint" So it's a higher temp paint, I think 900 degrees.

But they also make a clear coat, so, take your calipers off, paint them RED, sand off the letters "CORVETE" then Clear coat them.

Paint the brackets Black
