So it's summer time which means rain just about every day here in Daytona Beach FL. and i'm about due for a new set of wiper blades. Before running down to the local shop I thought I'd check in with you all to see if anyone's had a spectacular experience with anything. I think I'm interested in trying those newer frameless ones. Thanks for your input!! Stay DRY!!
Not sure what kind they are but on my new TREX they are very good
Have a 98 C5 and also a 08 TREX. Wierdest wiper blades I've ever seen. Seen to be extremely flexible and have a very unusual attachment the grabs on the sides and then snaps in to the wiper arm.
Like nothing I've ever seen. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Are they frameless? Can I get some like this for the C5? and if so WHERE?BBIGHANK
See that's exactly what I was looking for. A fellow forum member to come in here raving about a set. Let's see who can identify what these are and where to get em. Then maybe we can push for a group buy?

Keeping the glass very clean and using Trico Teflon coated blades works for me.
BTW, go to any GM dealer and buy a bottle of "OptiKleen" washer solvent and mix up your own solution for your washer tank. Use distilled water (cheap at grocery store) so no mineral deposits in nozzles over time.
Interesting post Drew, something we always forget about till we need them and it seems like the always streak right in your line of sight.heard from a friend (owns a car service) those frameless ones are really good ,will get details if nobody post's before then. One little trick I've learned put a little squirt dishwashing soap in with your windshield washer solution if you pick up any antifreeze or oil leaking from passing traffic it will clean it and stop it from smearing or streaking.Last item NEVER wash your windshield with those squeegee's at gas stations as some thoughtless individuals if they spill gasoline on the side of their car will wash it off with the squeege put that squeege to your windshield and smear city.,I also agree "The forum is your friend"
Anco is not making the stock wiper blades anymore, i bought two sets when my parts store told that they were quiting the production of Anco W-22R ! After I've worn them out I guess the Bosch, they seem real sturdy.
So at this point there's the rain x lattitude's and 2 levels of choice with Bosch. I also found out that we need the 22" type and if you go with the 'icon' Bosch's theres actually a different wiper for each side... Anywho, I'd love to hear from users of these brands before I make a choice. Take care guys!
Im taking it that was a joke right? since they're not frameless, in fact they look like they might have been the stock ones. Anywho they carry several other brands like bosch and rain x. Prices look pretty reasonable too. As long as shipping is not too bad.
