Default lug nuts

What is correct torque for stock wheel lug nuts. Last guy didn't use torque wrench and needed breaker bar to remove one wheel.(warped rotor) too

Despite comments otherwise it is hard to believe the rotor warped from the lug nuts being overtorqued. Cars using sealed bearing hubs squeeze the center of the rotor between the hub flange and the wheel. This doesn't do anything to pull the rotor surface in any direction. With cars using a spindle with the bearing and lug bolts mounted in the rotor it might be possible to warp a rotor that is overtorqued.

The owners manual says to torque to 25, then 50, then 75, then to 100 ft lbs. It seems overkill to me, but I do it.

I torque to 100 and then recheck when done. I check every other month for the street. At the track I check 10x per day.

I think that is over kill also. I use a impact gun which takes the lug nuts to about 75-80 lb-ft, then I torque to 100 lb- ft
