i want to get 383 stroker kit on my gto 2004
or swap l98

whish better choise

L98 as in the old TPI L98 from the C4's? I sure hope not.

Even if its the LS version of the L98 from Holden, still not a good idea.

l98 for g8 holden it is make good number my frind have g8 and but cam heatr the car make 428 rwhp and 400tq
l98 came with 90mm throtel and injectors 42 and 6.0 bettrer than ls1 but 383 stroker iknow it is best but is mor costly to me

if you know abou best choise stroker 383 please help me

No offense friend, is English your first language ?

Next what do you want your car to do?

if your looking to make over 400 rwhp and tq a cammed LS6 or LS2 will do. A forged stoked 383 will and can make will into the 500s

Or just drop in a Create LS3.

The Vauxhall VXR8 has been upgraded with LS3 V8

Simple... 382 (an LS1 or LS6 makes a 382, not 383)
You cant bolt on L92 (I'm sure you don't mean l98 tpi) because the valve size is for a 4 inch bore or greater. The LS1/6 has a 3.9 bore.

So, if you want L92 heads, you're going to get an LS2 block...

So, really- you're not getting a 383 or L92.

With your block, you're getting a 382... with other heads, but they aren't l92's...

aha you mean that i cannot swab l98 engine on gto.why?

and if iwant getting l98 heads on my block ls1 engine its cannot be do it because the size of bore i think you mean size of pistone hole not matching with that heads ?

now the most important question
which best 383 stroker can i swapet on my ls1
and heads

imean if i want to get over 500rwhp N/A

i heared about lingenfilter c5 vette get over than 532rwhp by 383 stroker which comprition ratio or it have it by std pistone just increased by tf heads

your LS1 heads are not the best choice on the a 383.

if your building a 383 buy the whole engine. Dont build one from used parts.

I have a 383 I just installed that has my ported ls1 heads. An upgrade there wasn't in the budget yet.

I'll post up numbers of my 383 with ls1 heads, I'm sure they wont make me happy. When I have the extra 3k Trickflows will be installed in a heartbeat.
