Default Bought Modded Vette Have a Question

It is a 01 with the following mods Lg Headers, Corsa Exhuast, and Custom Cam 601lift 236 dur 112 lobe seperation. What is weird to me is on the dyno it made 412rwp & 422 rwtq but the power is falling off at 5800rpms which seems low to me. Now the car still has the stock air box so could that choke the power up top? Thanks in advance for helping a newbie to the vette world!

that is about right for an 01 and that cam.

if you look at the dyno chart, I bet there is lots of torque down low. which is a good thing. Low end tq gives that launch or hard acceleration. up to 5250 rpms

big HP numbers are for forum and bench racing, as most ppl dont drive 5000 to redline

im not sure why the previous owner would do all that work and leave the stock air box in. Normally that's the first things guys change and the exhaust.

Your numbers arent bad. Welcome to the forum. Im in tampa

Your car is now breathing better, you really need to ditch that stock air box and get some air into it.To bad you had it tuned beforehand.I am surprised the tuner did not give you that advise before he tuned it.

Welcome aboard. Change to a after market " air-box " and
let her breath. Your numbers are just fine-a nice street
racer.
