Things like what model year would help. Might want to add this into your sig.

The stock springs are barely good enough for the stock cam.

ANY cam swap will require better valvesprings.

If you do decide to go with a new cam, it is a good idea to at least do Heads too!

A good set of LS6 Heads will flow pretty good for a NA set-up!

You could go with a cam similar to mine 224/228 588" Lift 114 Lobe center - DO NOT go below the 114 Lobe Center, you will have to much "LUMP" to it. Stay w/in the 114 + area as this will also work well for you when you go to Forced Induction!

You can have a smooth idle and plenty of cam, kinda like a sleeper with today's technology!

I hope this helps see my sig below for my progression to where I am at now

Thanks,Matt

Feel free to give me a call and I'll be happy to help you with a camshaft selection and the required components.
