My a/c is working ok but it is allowing a small amount of air through the defroster vent causing the windshield to fog in the humid Florida air.I checked all the vacuum lines in the fender well and under the battery all are good with no breaks.Any ideas?????
The moisture forms on the OUTSIDE of the windshield, correct????
I wont say that its normal but, Ive seem more C5 that do this than dont. I dont think you have an issue. If it gets bad, you will need to reduce the AC output temp.
If its on freeze your ***** of cold, turn it down to nipple hard and see if it helps!
If you have moisture on the inside,,,you have BIG issues.
It forms on the outside and I do have the a/c set on 60 all the time. I usually just cut the fan down to regulate the snowman atmosphere.I thought that no air would come out of def vent when in a/c mode.I wondered if this might be a door in the dash unit not closing properly.I know the 2 troublesome actuators act up from time to time and they have been replaced. My new Impala had to have them replaced already so the hot on the drivers side syndrome is not unique to our Corvettes.
I have been afraid to change the temp from 60 and have the hot one side thing kick up again. I guess I can try that and see what happens.
I see that up nort here in Minnesota... You're super cooling the windshield and water is condensing on the outside.. It happens and will continue.. Nothing wrong with the car.. Just too humid outside... eh?
