CD Changer harness...HELP!!!
I have the cd changer and harness installed in my 98 vert. I followed the information that has been shared here about locating the two plugs in the passengers footwell but, I was only able to find the most obvious plug. I removed everything including the fuse box panel and could not find the other plug. It does appear that the previous owner may have had an aftermarket unit in the car at one time, and I am wondering if the factory plug had to be used for the aftermarket unit wiring. If so, how do I connect the changer now to make the unit operable??????

The best thing to do is go all aftermarket with all new wires. Why chase wires on an outdated system. More and more people dont even use cd's. Why have a disc changer that holds 10 discs when you can have an ipod or zip drive that holds over 10 hours of music? Replacing the factory system was one of the best mods I did to my car.

When I installed my Changer in my 02 Z,,,I thought I didnt have that small plug also. It was wrapped in tape on the big harness below the big larger connector for the COHAR cable plug.
If yours is an early C5,,,you may not have that connector. Have you tried to post in the electronic/stereo section?
