automatic 6 speed transmission

Hi!

I´m writing from the Europe maybe somebody have/has experience!?
I want to change from my Corvette C5 the regular automatic 4 speed transmission, into a automatic 6 speed transmission from a Corvette C6, can somebody help me or can somebody give me a information?!

I think it has been done, but it is *extremely* expensive. If you want six speeds at a reasonable price convert it to a stick shift.

race proven motorsports in Delaware has done a few 6spd to automatic conversions on the new z06. I am sure they could give you an idea of what that would cost. I think I heard somewhere in the area of $6000-$10000.

Since the C5 runs more of a transaxle from what I understand I'm going to say no.

ABSOFRIGGENLOUTLY NOT! Our AUTOMATIC Transmissions bolt to the Torque Tube and to the differential. It doesn't have a TAIL SHAFT HOUSING either.. Its connect3ed to the differential:
